"Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals” 1 Corinthians 15:33 (Amplified Version)
It has been said, and I believe that it is true...what you listen to, hang around with, becomes you. But if each of us strive to be better than we were the day before I think we would see something awesome happen in our lives and the connecting world around us. Because we are inundated with communication everywhere, phone, text, television, radio, billboards, pamphlets, cars with decals on it loudly sharing its message, we must listen to what we are "listening" to.
Since we are being communicated to a lot, we have to have times where we draw back, take a break and reassess what it is that we have heard, and how it either helps or hinders how you think or act. If there has ever been a time to honor yourself and others, watch what you SAY. Better yet, watch what you think too. Have you ever considered how your communication affects you, or others? Did you know that negative energy is felt long before someone even speaks? So I believe that it true about "evil" communication, corrupting one's values.and views. Therefore we must watch what we say and honor people with our words.
I love the Scripture at the top of this article post, "Do not be deceived, bad company corrupts good morals". It is self explanatory and holds its own weight but sometimes we simply forget the power of influence of self of others when we are doing or saying something. So just as an ask, I want you to look at how you communicate and see if you are promoting good communication or lending self to something else. If we each do our part it makes everything just a little bit better. #MondayManners
