Such a provocative thought and interesting topic of discussion on the WAKE Prayer and Inspired Word Call this morning. Many are simply here, but not alive. Benjamin Franklin says, "many people die at age 25 but they aren't buried until they are 75". Such a powerful statement.
While there are many different definitions of what it means to be alive and living, the essence is that of a vibrant, radiant life, not stuff, but the essence of the life exist and thrives from a spirit filled existence that propels us into action.
Could you have stopped living some time ago? Has your trials and struggles forced you into a hyphenated identity causing you to be disconnected from the reality and the normalcy of living? Well sometimes the way in which we deal with others and with our own selves speaks volumes about living and being alive. I know that my life is NOTHING without Christ and every single day I am reminded of this truth. His word makes me a live and causes me to live better.
So I encourage you all to get out and be alive and live more. God is for us, leading us, directing us and showing us how to move, but don't be afraid to at least try.
