Today marks 13 years since 9/11 and for many people they are still feeling the affects from this tragic past event. I remember like it was yesterday, where I was, what I was doing and how I felt at the time that it happened. Never in my life did I foresee such a thing, but it happened and now we are here.
Because of this event, things drastically changed for all of us in very serious ways, some ways that we have probably not even seen yet, but change was inevitable.
Just like the 9/11 event, there are many of us that have had our own personal "9/11" event in our lives, and we are still feeling the affects of that too. Our decisions sent us into serious emotional explosions, causing some serious personal and mental damage, and possibly set us back for a couple of years...but there is hope and you can WALK IT OFF GIRL.
God graced all of us with the ability to be resilient individuals, and when we take the opportunity to do what we must then we will see the necessity of following through with the Walk It Off Girl Principles:
1. Acknowledge that you need something to be different.
2. Specifically identify what that "something" is
3. Be willing to abandon the pattern of how you LIVE now so you can LIVE better later
4. Start physically walking (exercising) and don't look back.
So while you might still feel the affects of your past there should be great resolve, and a spirit of determination that encourages you to move forward. When you truly get SICK and tired of being SICK and tired, you will make the necessary motions to change. Weight is not going to just fall off, you are going to have to give it some directions so that it knows it is no longer welcomed.
